Winter Open Pursuit Race 3rd / 4th December 2005 |
Our very popular Winter Open Pursuit Race, which is held at the Queen Elizabeth's Country Park, Ashington, takes places again this year on the first weekend in December. As our Club House is based at Newbiggin, we provide a marquee on the Lake side, where hot food and drinks are available for everyone. We also provide heating inside the marquee, where spectators can sit and enjoy a view of the Lake and the racing in comfort. |

| The Open, as named, is a Pursuit Race and as normal, slowest boats starts first and fastest last. The event is open to any boat with a PYS of between 938 and 1646 as it is a small man made lake and has not got the room for fast Asymetrix's in a blow. | |
