Winter Open Pursuit Race 6th/ 7th December 2003 |
Our very popular Winter Open Pursuit Race, which is held at the Queen Elizabeth's Country Park, Ashington, takes places again this year on the first weekend in December. As our Club House is based at Newbiggin, we provide a marquee on the Lake side, where hot food and drinks are available for everyone. We also kindly provide heating inside the marquee, where spectators can sit and enjoy a view of the Lake and the racing in comfort. |

| The Open, as named, is a Pursuit Race and as normal, slowest boats starts first and fastest last. The event is open to any boat with a PYS of 940 or higher as it is a small man made lake and has not got the room for fast Asymetrix's in a blow. | |
